There’s nothing that I don’t love about coffee. The aroma, the flavor, the color – I truly love everything about coffee, so being a part of the Green Mountain Coffee Family is definitely something to be proud of. Since coffee is part of my daily, morning routine, being part of the K-Cup Ambassadorship is indeed a perfect fit for me.

All K-Cup Ambassadors receive monthly mailings with a large variety of coffees, teas, fruit juice and hot cocoa and we get to share our experience with our lovely readers as well as share some amazing coupon codes – that you would only get from us. 😉

Donut House Collection

Last month’s mailing was from the Donut House Collection. The package came with Regular blend, Decaf, Cinnamon Roll and Glazed Chocolate Donut k-cups packs as well as a cute diner condiment stand, a sugar container and a milk cup.

The Donut House Collection K-Cup portion Packs are all light roast blends. The regular blend K-cup has a very smooth flavor with no bitter aftertaste. The regular blend is by far my favorite k-cup pack after Pumpkin Spice. The Donut House Collection tastes like you are drinking a cup of coffee straight out of a diner. Now I don’t know about you but for some strange reason, I love diner coffee. It’s never burnt or bitter – just smooth and delicious.

The cinnamon roll has a hint of cinnamon in the background and the aroma of sweet, fresh-baked cinnamon rolls. To me, the cinnamon roll is a lighter blend than the regular coffee. When I brew the cinnamon roll, I brew it on the smallest cup (6-oz) as opposed to the regular coffee where I brew it on the medium cup (8-oz). I love adding a dash of cinnamon on top for extra flavor. The chocolate glazed donut smells delicious as it brews. The aroma surrounds your kitchen like you’re baking fresh chocolate glazed donuts. It has just a hint of chocolate in the background, which is perfect.

Last but not least, Donut House Decaf. It’s my favorite k-cup pack when I’m in the mood to drink a nice, cup of hot coffee in the evening after dinner. It tastes just as good as the regular brew but without all the caffeine to keep you up at night. I brew the decaf k-cup pack in either the 6-oz setting or the 8-oz setting. Both cup sizes work pretty well with the decaf and the regular.

  1. Hi, Lisa. Every single time you post about coffee, you make my mouth water. I’ve never been a big coffee drinker but I do like to have at least one cup per day recently. Maybe you can continue to give me pointers about what are the best coffee flavors to try. Thank you so much for participating in the Monday Mingle at Tough Cookie Mommy

  2. I love the pictures! I’m not a coffee drinker either but I definitely need to start. I can’t keep my eyes open most days! These k-cups sound delish though, I can definitely drink a coffee that tastes like a donut!
