Harry Potter Fans can now purchase tickets for the chance to step inside the famous wizard’s magical world with Harry Potter: The Exhibition, returning to Discovery Times Square on November 3rd.
Since its hugely successful run in New York City in 2011, Harry Potter: The Exhibition has been updated significantly with artifacts from the film series, including the final film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
In addition to the hundreds of original props and costumes from the Harry Potter films displayed during the exhibition’s first time in New York, which the New York Times described as “quite bewitching,” and “making J.K. Rowling’s universe palpably vivid,” original artifacts from the series finale, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ – Part 2, will be on display for the first time, including a new vignette dedicated to the epic battle of Hogwarts™. Visitors can also celebrate the holidays at Harry Potter: The Exhibition, as the exhibition will be open during the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year holidays.
The 14,000-square-foot experiential exhibition, invites visitors to visit dramatic displays inspired by the Hogwarts film sets and see the amazing craftsmanship behind authentic costumes and props from the films. Harry Potter: The Exhibition offers fans a firsthand view of hundreds of artifacts displayed in settings inspired by the film sets including the Great Hall, Hagrid’s hut, the Gryffindor™ common room, and more.
I’ll be visiting Harry Potter: The Exhibition with my family and I’ll be sure to post my thoughts and experiences after our visit. If you’re a huge Harry Potter fan, you will definitely enjoy this exhibit.
Discovery Times Square is open seven days a week, including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Savings for groups of 10 or more are available with advanced reservation.
