My kids are back in school and I’m sure I’m not the only happy, ok ECSTATIC parent about school finally starting. We are on day two and I couldn’t be more happier!
After a long, boring summer, I’m so glad my kids are back to a schedule and to some well-needed structure. We couldn’t do much this past summer because of my crazy work schedule but I’m hoping next summer will be a whole lot different.
Now that the kids are back in school, I always make sure we have our fridge stocked with Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice. With so many germs surfacing through the school hallways, I don’t want any of my kids bringing any nasty germs from school. So in order to avoid my kids from getting sick, I always give them an 8-oz glass of Tropicana Orange Juice right before they head off to school. With no added sugar and a day’s supply of Vitamin C, they are on the right track to a healthy immune system and a healthy heart. What more can you ask for when its made from fresh oranges?
As you may know, the Tropicana brand carries a wide variety of juices. When it comes to orange juice, it’s nice to know you have a choice of “no pulp,” “some pulp,” “lots of pulp (my fave!), and of course with “Vitamin D and Calcium.” And never forget this, Tropicana Pure Premium is 100% pure Florida orange juice!
My kids are not the “pulpy” type so I have to be careful and select the no-pulp orange juice. But if I had a choice, I would go the “lots of pulp” route!
A Special Treat for Moms
Here’s something that I do when I want to unwind during the work week. I know that some parents like to unwind with a glass of wine when the kids are all tucked in (and that is A-OK!) but since I have a thyroid condition, I can’t do that. Instead, I make a Virgin Mimosa. I take seltzer water (flavored preferred) and orange juice and mix the two into a champagne glass. It’s refreshing, nutritious and delicious! It kinda makes me feel as though I’m drinking the real thing.
What about you? What is your favorite Tropicana juice?
