Thanks to my fellow blogger and friend Migdalia from Latina on a Mission for introducing Zinio on her blog. She tweeted about one of her posts showcasing a free subscription of Cosmopolitan for the Zinio app a few weeks ago and I was curious to know what was Zinio all about.
Before her post, I never heard of Zinio. And like so many people, when I see the word FREE, I jump at the chance to see if I can get my hands on it. Lol
I clicked on her link and there it was — a full year subscription to Cosmopolitan magazine for FREE. I went to iTunes and immediately downloaded the app from my addicting iPad.
It was fast, free and easy. I made an account for myself on my computer and signed in on my iPad. I found the magazine cover of Cosmo and proceeded to download the newest issue.
I was reading my FREE issue of Cosmo in less than a minute.
I’m in love AND obsessed! I’m constantly looking for a new magazine subscription that is under $9.99 and guess what? I found one!
Today I found Everyday With Rachael Ray magazine (10-issues) subscription for only $4.99!
WooHoo! SCORE!
I LOVE her magazine but was disappointed when I received the renewal notice and saw that it would be $18.99 for another year. I know if I buy the magazine at the supermarket for $3.99 an issue, $18.99 is a steal but being that I’m cheap frugal, I like anything close to free — Plus, I’m saving trees and clutter!
So if you own an iPad or any tablet, be sure to download the Zinio app! You’ll be obsessed just like me.

Thanks for sharing! I will definitely have to check this out. I love that with things like Netflix and iPhone/iPad, we have cut down on things like DVDs, but it would be nice to snag some magazines too!
