A brand new Disney movie is making it’s debut on DVD and Blu-ray next Tuesday September 21st. It’s called Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue.
Ever since I was a little girl I have loved Tinker Bell and now my two daughters love her as well — my 5 year old especially. She has watched this movie already 6 times. It’s her new favorite.
Spoiler alert: My favorite part was when the father found out the real truth and stopped doubting Lizzy.Β That father and daughter moment made me tear up because it reminded me of my Dad (may he rest in peace).
There’s a few Tinker Bell movies already out on DVD and blu-ray but this one is different.
In Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue, you get to find out the real story behind the very first human friend Tinker Bell met in the very beginning – and it’s not who you think it is.
Years before meeting Wendy and The Lost Boys (Michael & John), Tinker Bell met Lizzy, an eight year girl with a steadfast belief in the power of pixie dust and the magic land of fairies. Lizzy discovers that her dream to meet a fairy is finally coming true. She also learns that Tinker Bell speaks in jingles and that fairies canβt fly in the rain.
This all-new adventure includes the vocal talents of Michael Sheen (Twilight New Moon), Pamela Adlon (King of the Hill), Lucy Liu (Kung Fu Panda), Kristen Chenoweth (Glee), Mae Whitman (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), Raven-Symone (Revenge of the Bridesmaids), and more!
Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue will be available on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 on DVD and Blu-ray.
