I don’t know what it is about Girl Scout Cookies that I love so much. Maybe it’s because they are so darn good and with so many different flavors, you just can’t choose one. Or maybe it’s because it’s available only once a year (Jan. 6th – Mar. 31st) and after the season is over, we all crave them until it’s available again.
Who knows!
All I know is that my whole family goes crazy for them and we all have our favorites too.
My husband is more of a “Tagalongs” cookie lover, I’m more of a “Samoa” cookie lover. There’s something about caramel and toasted coconut that is just divine. My kids all love the shortbread and Thin Mints – That is until we all tried the Thank You Berry Much cookies.
It is delicious. It contains the tartness of real Ocean Spray cranberries combined with the sweetness of white chocolate chips and the texture of crispy rice. It’s a whole “lotta flavor” in a small cookie but it’s so worth it!
Don’t you just wanna bite into the screen to get your fix? I know I do! Until next year my dear cookies!

I had never tasted Girl Scout cookies until recently. A colleague of my husband who came to visit in November was shocked that after living in the US for several years we had never tasted Girl Scout cookies, so he sent us a box a couple of months ago. It was Tagalongs. They were ok – way too sweet for my taste and I’m not a huge fan of peanuts or peanut butter, but I thought it was so cute that he sent us some 🙂
I would LOVE to taste the Thin Mints, and the Samoas sound delish too! I think they should start delivering overseas 😉
They really are, I agree ! I think they add a “secret” ingredient to make you crave them during cookie sweeps
Talk about addictive! I call my friends up with girl scouts. When I was pregnant I must have ordered a case. and almost killed my husband when he tried to give one box to a coworker. I love the thin mints. Right now my friends hold the boxes for me at work and then I walk over to get my daily ration. Otherwise I’d be a fat pig right now.
If they were readily available all the time, I would be fatter too. LOL
