Madagascar has always been a huge hit at our house. It was actually my 4 year old’s first film to see at the movies. Even though she was only about 6 months old, she enjoyed it. She didn’t whine or cry so I knew she had a good time.
When Madagascar 2 came out, we all went to see it as well. It’s an animated movie that is fun for all ages. There’s even some jokes that young kids won’t get, which is fine by me. 😉
So when we heard that the penguins will have their own show on Nickelodeon, the kids were thrilled! I don’t know about you, but those penguins are funny. Dr. Blowhole is hilarious too. It’s my four year old’s favorite character.
The Penguins of Madasgascar Operation on DVD was definitely a huge hit here. If you enjoyed Madagascar, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this one. It has a bit of violence (what cartoon doesn’t) and some humor intended for adults but in my opinion, it’s entertaining and funny. Kids are going to laugh when they see this DVD.
