Movies that are a Must-See for the Whole Family.

Over the thanksgiving break, my family and I went on a movie watching frenzy.  The two movies that we all loved was the Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian with Ben Stiller and Imagine That with Eddie Murphy.  They were both great family movies that everyone will enjoy, especially if you’re a family that has a HUGE imagination, like ours.

imagine_that_xlgImagine That is a movie full of imagination (hence the word), mishaps and fantasy.  The father (Eddie Murphy) is a very busy, competitive money mogul who finds himself slipping away in the corporate world so he turns to his seven year old daughter (Yara Shahidi) and her world of imaginary princesses for help. He later discovers that his daughter’s imagination is the secret to his success.

It’s definitely a feel good movie for everyone in the whole family.

battle of smith

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian is part two from the original Night at the museum with Ben Stiller, Robin Williams & Owen Wilson.  I loved the first one so I was super excited to see the Battle of the Smithsonian.  In this sequel, instead of Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) watching over the Museum of Natural History as a night watchman, he is trying to prevent the exhibits from being retired to the archives of the Smithsonian Institution.  He also needs to stop the cranky Egyptian Pharaoh who plans to take over the museum… and the world.

So far, my family and I have seen this movie twice.  It was a good thing that we watched it over again because there were a few things that I missed when I watched it the first time.  If you loved the first movie, you won’t want to miss this one!

Both movies are available now on DVD & Blu-Ray.

Disclosure: Both movies, Imagine That & Night of the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian were sent to me by Click Communications to review & to keep.  I did not receive any monetary compensation for the review and all opinions are mine. They were not affected by anyone.
