Yesterday I was in the mood for chocolate chip cookies. So I looked in the cabinets hoping to find chocolate chips. I looked everywhere but I couldn’t find any chocolate chips. My craving for chocolate was so intense. I had to have something chocolaty. So I decided to search the internet for ideas on how to make cookies out of either cake mix or brownie mix because all I had was German Chocolate cake mix and Betty Crocker Fudgy Brownie Mix. I found a site (I don’t remember the name of it) and they had a simple recipe on how to make brownie cookies.
I thought, that sounds so delish and so easy. Here’s what you do:
*Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Get a bowl and a small ice cream scoop or two tablespoons; put that to the side. Follow the directions on the back of the box. Instead of adding a ½-cup of water, just sprinkle the batter with a little water so it’s not so dry. If you have a small ice cream scoop, all you need is one scoop per cookie on a cookie sheet. If you don’t, then grab two spoons and make a ball and place it on the cookie sheet. Treat them like “drop cookies”. Bake it in the oven for 10-12 minutes and that’s it! How simple and easy is that?
I was in heaven after I took the first bite. It was so good. I made about 27 cookies. Guess how many I have left?
One. Yup; we are chocoholics here!
