Quick Note

Yesterday, I was really happy because I bought gas from my local Stop and Shop and paid $3.90 a gallon because of the new deal they now have.  For every dollar you spend at Stop and Shop, you get one point.  When you reach 50 points, you get 10 cents off every gallon of gas.  The best part is that the points accumulate too.  The more points you have, the more money you save. Regular gas was at $4.25 but with my savings, gas was $3.90; I saved 35 cents for each gallon.  That is a total savings of $4.55.  Not bad, uh?  I’m really hoping this continues because if it doesn’t, I will be highly upset because I don’t like being teased.

***I was in the city all day and when I was coming home, I noticed that gas has gone down yet again.  We’re at $4.12 now.  YIPPEE!!

  1. You live Downstate, I live Upstate. Wanna know what’s really lousy? Downstate wages are usually twice what we in Upstate earn (average gross income for family of six in Central NY is about $25,000). We pay the SAME gas prices, or HIGHER, and we have almost no public transportation up here, cuz it’s so rural. The gas prices are really killing an economy that was being killed already. What crap, I am so MAD!!!
