What to cook when your stove isn’t working

Yup, that’s me.  I think about that daily.  I haven’t had the luxury of cooking any food on my stove for almost 3 months.  Why?  Maybe it’s because my husband is a little too lazy to buy the piece that needs replacement in the back of the stove so it doesn’t leak propane all over the house.  Once that is done, we can have the of calling a propane company to deliver a propane tank so that I can cook real meals and bake.

So we’ve been eating:

Frozen pizza (Tony’s Pizza or Ellio’s)& basically anything that can be microwaved.
Pizza from our local Pizzeria
Chinese food
Mac & Cheese
Instant Mashed potatoes (yuk)
Lipton Alfredo Noodles
Top Ramen
Tuna fish sandwiches
Ham and cheese sandwiches
Lean Cuisine frozen dinners
Boneless Pork chops on the pancake griddle
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts on the griddle
Mc.D’s
Wendy’s
Taco Bell
and the list of junk food can go and on and on………………..

So, what should I do?

Should I make it my own business since I don’t work outside of the home)and call someone to come and fix it regardless of the price and forget about what hubby thinks about paying someone for something he can do?  Or should I keep on nagging him? (I am really tired of asking and nagging him to fix it.)

Note:There’s a couple of things I have learned to cook in the microwave since our stove broke.  We have learned how to boil potatoes and boil noodles (Top Ramen).  I know, it’s not a big deal but it is for little ol’ me.
