Rolling down memory lane

I remember when I was 19 years old, my dad took my sister and I to Orlando, Florida for our summer vacation.  It was one of my most memorable experiences in my life.  It was also my very first time in Florida.  I loved everything about it.  We were there for only a week but we did so much.  Since there are so many things to do in Orlando, you will never be bored.  You can visit one of their amusement parks, go to one or a few of their many beaches and eat at so many different types of restaurants too.  My favorite place was Disney World and Universal Studios.  I had the best time there.  I am an amusement park kind of person so basically I love any park that includes roller coasters.

If you’re interested in going on a vacation this summer, you’ve got to check out Trusted Tours and look at their online travel guides to decide where you would like to go.  They have tons of information on dozens of places.  Trusted Tours and Attractions offers discounted tickets to the best sightseeing tours in 23 cities across America.  They are also having a contest where you can win a handheld GPS if you sign up for their newsletter.  I’m already signed up so if I win, I’ll let you know.  You must hurry though, this offer ends June 30th so you only have a few days left.

So, just like my title on my blog, I am truly a New York girl.  I lived in New York all my life but it’s sad I never took advantage of some of the most beautiful places New York State has to offer, especially in the Big Apple (NYC).  When I used to live in the Bronx, it took me about a 1/2 to get to the city from home.  It was great.  One place I would love to visit is the Metropolitan museum of art. One of the reasons being is that I love Art and History.  When I was in NYC a few days ago to see Young Frankenstein (look out for that post), I really forgot how much I missed being there.  There are so many museums to visit.  You would need at least two weeks in the city to see each and every one of them.
