If so, you may want to do the work yourself instead of going to your neighborhood home improvement store. Or you can make a call to a reputable contractor and make sure that person or company is licensed and insured. Many people don’t know this but it’s the law to be licensed and insured if you are a contractor. You never know what problems can arise while your home is being remodeled or renovated.
My husband is a contractor. He is both licensed and insured. He has done plenty of work for people that have hired contractors through home improvement stores to fix what the “contractors” have done previously. It’s so sad that innocent people have to pay double for work in their home. They think they will get the best job done because it is from a well known company. Little do they know; most of these contractors don’t have the proper tools, knowledge and/or the experience to get the job done properly.
So while searching through YouTube, I was shocked when I came across this particular video. These things happen more than you think. It shows that a well known store like Home Depot are hiring people to lie and deceit people to get work. They even try to persuade the customers to get work done they don’t even need. Some are not even licensed to do any work but yet they get contracts through Home Depot. I was completely shocked when I saw the video. Here’s another video. I really can’t believe a woman had to go through that. It really is disturbing and sad.
