Well, I’m happy to say that I’m finally going to see Young Frankenstein. For Mother’s Day, my sister bought me 2 tickets to see the show on June 22nd. She had mentioned before that she sent me something in the mail but she kept quiet about what she was sending me. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened up the letter. I was so shocked when I first saw it, I had to take a second look. When I got home, I showed hubby the tickets and he said that I should take my sister because it was the right thing to do. So I called her up to thank her and I asked her if she was joining me. She said no because she wanted my husband and I to have a day to ourselves. I thought, awwwww, isn’t she sweet.
So now, I’m counting down the days until I see the show.  I can’t wait!  She’s the best sister anyone can ask for, and I’m not saying that because she got me tickets to a Broadway show either.  She’s kind, thoughtful, caring, loving, generous, helpful, full of great advice. and she loves my 3 kids dearly.  She is a great person all around and I am very lucky to have a sister like her.  To top it all off, she’s going to babysit my 3 kids the day of the show — That in itself is a gift from her..
 Thanks Sis!  Love ya!
I will definitely post about my day at the city so be sure to check back for my review on the show.

I’m so happy for you! You will have a great time and you deserve it, Nena. Very nice of your sister for babysitting and getting you the tickets 🙂
Very cool. I’ve never been to a musical before. My sister’s boyfriend bought her tickets to see Wicked for mother’s day & I’m so jealous! I asked her last year to go w/me & I’d buy them but she said she wasn’t interested in that! lol Guess she’s matured since huh?
Hey, you’re never too old for musicals. I guess some people just don’t like them. I think they are so cool!
My first musical was “Mama, I want to sing” when I was in Junior High School and I loved musicals ever since. The only thing is I can’t watch it on TV; I can only watch it in person…hehehehe
I also saw “The Wizard of Oz” with Rosanne Barr and she was hysterical. I loved that show. I’ve also seen “A Christmas Carol” too. That was such a wonderful show. You know, I wish I was rich so that I could see all of the Broadway shows. =)
Do they have Broadway shows in Cali?
