My anniversary is on June 10th so I decided to surprise my DH with a comedy show to see Mike Epps. He absolutely thinks he is hilarious and loves all of his movies. I think he’s funny also. So when I found out he was going to be performing nearby, I was really excited. I said to myself, this will be perfect for an anniversary gift for my husband because he really enjoys his comedy. I was even counting down the days. It was supposed to be for tomorrow night.
I just received an email stating that the event was cancelled. I can’t believe it! I’ve been waiting for 3 weeks to surprise my husband of 12 years and now I have to figure out what to get him.
Does anyone in the Blogosphere have any idea as to what to get a spouse for their 12th anniversary?

That sux! I went to see him a few years ago when he opened for Dave chappell. That was before his show.that was a great show? Is he rescheduling? Well what are you doing for father,s day? You don’t have a comEdy club down there you can go to?

I can’t believe it is going to be 12 years- congratulations! What about a comedy club in Westchester or NYC- you could book a hotel (hotels.com have great rates) and a show- and really enjoy yourselves! That would probably also cover him getting you a gift!
I so share your pain (in the ***). Our 11th anniversary is on the 21st, which is also dh’s birthday, AND Father’s day is next weekend. So I need to come up with 1 decent gift and 2 good gifts. I’m getting him an iPod Nano with a nice leather case for his birthday, but for the rest I am totally at a loss.
It’s SO much easier to get presents for women than for men!!
