I don’t know about you but in my opinion, Disney is not just for kids. It’s in the kid in all adults too. My kids and I were very excited when we found out that Radio Disney is sponsoring a concert series in Wildwood, New Jersey at the Morey’s Pier for the whole month of July. The best part of the concert is that it is absolutely FREE. Now everyone loves a free concert, right? To be perfectly honest, I love ANYTHING that is free. Free is my middle name. 
The next best part of Wildwood is the pier. The Morey’s Pier is a great place for a vacation for the whole family to enjoy. They have over 100 exciting amusement park rides and attractions, including TWO large beach front water parks, kiddie rides, roller coasters and lots more. In case you didn’t know, Morey’s Pier is the LARGEST amusement pier in the WORLD. It’s located right on the Boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey, next to cape May, N.J., and not far from both Ocean City and Atlantic City. How’s that for a whole lotta fun?
There are so many things to do in New Jersey. You can stay a whole week and still have lots to do. There’s also Six Flags Great Adventures and The Land of Make-Believe too. Both places are great for all ages. I’ve been to both tons of times.
While you’re in Wildwood, here are some Wildwood Events you don’t want to miss:
- July 7th, 14th and 21st – Magic Mondays – Radio Disney’s hottest musical artists will appear live on Morey’s Piers. These FREE concerts will take place at the Radio Disney stage next to the Giant Ferris Wheel on Morey’s Mariner’s Landing pier. Show times are scheduled for 1 pm and 4 pm.
- The Radio Disney Summer Concert Series finale is scheduled for 2 pm Saturday, July 26, 2008 at the Wildwoods Convention Center Oceanfront Arena with Raven-Symone from Disney Channel’s “That’s so Raven” and the currently showing Walt Disney movie, “College Road Trip” starring Martin Lawrence and Raven-Symone. The July 26th concert will also feature Mitchell Musso from the “Hannah Montana Show”.
- July 26th Concert ticket holders may enjoy super savings at Morey’s Piers from the time of purchase through July 27, 2008. Simply show your official July 26 Radio Disney Summer Concert Series finale ticket at Guest Services on Mariner’s Landing and receive $10 off an all-day water park ticket for either Raging Waters or Ocean Oasis, or $10 off an amusement pier wristband valid for all three of Morey’s Piers, or $15 off a one-day splash and ride combination ticket.
- If you’re a Cub Scout, a Brownie or a Daisy, Saturday, June 7th will be a special day just for you. It’s called “Beach Bop” and for only $25 a person, you can have unlimited rides & water park admission with a BBQ lunch. Hurry, June 7th is just around the corner. - If you love to play Soccer, then the “Beach Blast Soccer Tournament will be perfect for any athletic child. It’s only for a weekend though– June 27-29th.

If you’re an out-of-towner like me or you just don’t want to go home, you can choose from a bunch of hotels nearby. Wildwood has over 4 hotels that are either on the beach front or just a block away from the beach.
So, if you’re in a mood to have the perfect vacation with your family, Wildwood vacations will definitely hit the spot.
