As you know, I have been covering various posts on the movie BRAVE and the anticipation of waiting is almost over. BRAVE will be in theaters THIS FRIDAY everywhere!
But first, here’s a little synopsis of the movie:
Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In “Brave,” a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts.
Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late.

One brave thing I am currently doing is moving my two kids and husband out of our 13 year old home and moving to another state because we need a change. Not for a job or family, but need a change. I live with no regrets or “what ifs”. I believe people get stuck and believe its too late to live a dream. Believing anything is possible makes me brave.

Choosing to try to get pregnant with our second child when my husband was being sent to war in 1990 (didn’t know if we’d be able to conceive when he came home – chemical warfare), or if he’d make it home and I’d be a widow with two children instead of one.

I’m brave by holding true to my convictions in life. I maintain a certain set of values of how I should live my life and I stay the course. People are always overbearing with advice on how and what I should do..The problem is they don’t live up to theri own expectations so they shouldn’t be giving out advice….
Getting up every am and facing the day is BRAVE 🙂 LOL Thanks for an awesome giveaway!

I had my son 6 years ago, and was brave enough to get pregnant again. I am excited, but scared since it’s been such a long time since I have raised a newborn, but brave enough and excited to be a mommy again..

Brave comes to mind by being a entrepreneur in this day and age of uncertainty. (There are days the stupidity can be exchanged for Brave.)

I believe true bravery lies in the idea that even though you might be afraid you continue on through your fears to create courage! In this regard I have been brave in declaring my beliefs at my job even though they are not respected in that environment. Everyone should have a say in life, so no matter what I think stadng up for what you believe in is truly brave and I have accomplished that task this past week!
San Jose Please<3
Chicago screening pls 🙂
Something that makes me BRAVE is waking up every day and start my day, as a mother we all know how that goes , we have lots of earring to do but we are BRAVE enough to make it threw everyday to keep our family happy :).
I really want passes for Chicago’s screening. My bravest moment was when I faced my fear of horses. I went for a ride and was very scared and then it turne for the worst when the horse was spooked by a passing deer. The horse jumped and I fell to the gravel. My leg was all bruised and scratched up and I stood quickly and in pain so the horse wouldn’t hurt me more. After the horse calmed down, as fearful as I was, I got back on the horse and finished the trail. I still go riding to this day. I was 10 years old then. Now I am 21 and heading into my dream of becoming an animator. Seeing brave will remind me of how everyone can be brave if you believe in yourself and strive for your dreams. Please allow me to go to
Chicago’s advanced screening.
The bravest thing I ever did was work up enough courage to ask the girl of my dreams out on a date. This led to our awesome relationship, which is almost 2 years strong. Here’s a picture of our first kiss. https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/47624_1515847298502_7004805_n.jpg
