So here it is. The moment we’ve all been waiting for. The last day of 2008. I’ve got to be honest. 2008 wasn’t that great for me. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t the best either. I know there’s people out there that totally understand me. So I am really hoping that 2009 is better for this country; the United States, everyone that reads my blog and my family; Healthwise, moneywise and happiness.
I don’t have any “real” resolutions because I know for a fact I would break that anyway but I do want to try to eat better, exercise more and try to be more patient when it comes to my kids.
*So, do you have any resolutions you’d like to share?*
I would like to share something I received in an email last night. I thought it was pretty much to the point and I love when things are to the point. So here you go:
There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won’t anymore… and who always will. So, don’t worry about people from your past, there’s a reason why they didn’t make it to your future. ‘Be kinder than necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.’
There’s so much truth in that little paragraph, right? Well, I hope everyone enjoys their last day of 2008 and may everyone have a safe and prosperous new year. Happy New Year everyone!!!
P.S. I’ll be changing the header tomorrow. I hope you like it 🙂
I hope 09 is better for you NYC! Thanks for sharing this poem. I think it’s quite fitting for all of us out there who are too much into that coulda, shudda type of frame of mind.
Happy New Year! To the point and a good one. May the new year bring you and your familia nothing but good things 🙂
Hi L…may you and yours have a Happy and Blessed new year!
