Okay you make feel guilty, I started 31 days to better blog and hit a road block on day 1 coming up with the elevator pitch. You give me inspiration that I am going to join this challenge with you.

Now to you. I like the elevator pitch but remember that the pitch is also to be used if someone, friend, family PR, or product manager asked you "what is your blog about." The elevator pitch should answer that question.

The long pitch is good but could be tightened up. To someone's else point. you dont have to explain why you chose the name. The last line about what your blog is about is should be shorter and more concise.

I like the sound of the word "savior" LOL!

I used to be a lot more personal before as well. I got so busy with all the "stuff" that I kind of lost a little of what I originally wrote about. Trying to get back to that, but it's harder than it seems! But I really do like social media, public relations, and writing about all the products we use and love, so I'm not sure if I'll ever get that personal again.

Now to your post. I think changing your tagline to mom is a great idea! It adds a certain warmth to it, KWIM? For your long pitch, I'd take out the part about what you love about NYC. You're trying to sell your blog, remember? Not New York City. I think saving that for a special part of your About page would be better. Or maybe even create a dedicated "I heart NY" page with links to your favorite posts about it, and your favorite places/photos?

Thanks so much for participating in this challenge!

I think you should put a strike mark through the words "trying to" and replace with "surviving." Because, you are, in fact, surviving! Plus, I just like strikethroughs and think they are fun! =)
