Actually when I was a teenager my cousin stole my "boyfriend". Of course I put it in quotes because at 15 it's not that serious anyway. But she was a hoochie! I always felt like you had to respect yourself and never fight over a guy. That makes you look so cheap and desperate. And there is so many other fish in the sea! I always said I rather be the popular one growing up because I was hard to get than the popular one because I was so easy. I totally agree with your rules. It's horrible that such crap is exalted on television. I guess that's why I try to avoid it! I wish more moms would raise their girls with those rules you spelled out.
